Circularity Specialist

Circularity is one of the more critical development areas for PAMA Division: in this framework, the Implementation Manager (IM) will have a key role in assuring that the Division Circularity Programs are timely and effectively executed. The IM shall have a sound personal experience in Circularity methodologies including personal competence on LCA processes and tools (experience with SimaPro software being a plus). The resource shall work in person on LCA and EPD development but also lead the gradual extension of the Circularity specialist team. Additionally, the IM will act as a reference for the relationships with the external auditing and verification bodies.

Your responsibilities
  • Metrics. Assures single point-of-contact for technical issues with consultants and SW owner; coordinates and supports the LCA specialist team and the colleagues providing product data and information at different factories; manages global SW licenses and installation; manages PAMA Division sub-component library securing reusability and speed-of-development.
  • Regulatory compliance. Implements policies and standards. Ensures area of responsibility is audited according to programs internally and externally. Assists Sustainability and Circularity managers in understanding obligations, liability and how to fulfil their roles according to international regulations and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement. Works with Circularity Manager and consultants in order to improve practice and expertise and to adopt automation solutions able to speed-up LCA and EPD development times.
  • Communication and engagement. Adding value through cross functional support to multi BL management and teams driving performance, engages with internal and external stakeholders to build commitment and credibility and executing the Division Circularity programs.
  • People leadership and development. Support Sustainability and Circularity managers in ensuring that the BLs are appropriately organized, staffed, skilled and directed.

Your background
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent education.
  • Brief but significant experience in LCA methods and tools.
  • A basic understanding of industrial processes.
  • Availability to travel as required (20%-40%)
  • Cultural attitude to cooperate and drive virtual, cross-country teams with an international mindset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong written and verbal communication in English.
